“ This cafe is incredible and offers an authentic taste of home for weary Western travelers. The owner is a European-trained chef who opened his shop just before Covid. The business is back up and running now and is well worth a visit. Nusa Penida is a gorgeous island off the beaten track and as such, certain tourist conveniences are a bit harder to come by. I was there for four days and ended up breaking a ten year gluten free diet at Black and White Cafe and it was well worth it. Cafe is well designed, the staff is friendly and above all, the baked goods and coffee are fantastic. ”
